John Wesley turns 3 years old today, and yesterday we had a birthday party for him in Georgia. Ginger came up as well as Granny Cate, Bruce, Di & Seth.John loves Spiderman and Spongebob. He got some of the cutest Spiderman toys. Here you can see part of the costume he got. He also got a toy shotgun,
clothes, money and James and I got him a baseball and baseball bat and a couple of games. We'll say the kid has plenty to keep him entertained at least for the next couple of weeks.
To go along with the Spiderman themed party, we had a Spiderman pinata. This pinata however, would have been more appropriate for Babe Ruth. It was made with thick cardboard and fastened with heavy staples. John didn't have alot of luck even making contact, but I think he had fun trying. Seth took a couple of shots at it, and did pretty well. He took both of the legs off and still no candy. James had to help in along and put a few holes in it here and there. In
the end, they reaped the rewards of the pinata, 'Oh happy day, candy everywhere!' What could make these kids more happy? After the pinata, John Wesley enjoyed his Spiderman cake. He spent part of the afternoon with James, Bruce and Seth in the
front yard playing baseball, or some form of it anyway. He seems to enjoy being pegged with a ball, which is not limited to the little soft baseball. He will make some dodgeball team very happy one day.Happy Birthday John Wesley, we hope you have a wonderful day! We Love You!
